Departing from Shanwei, we headed east along the Shanzhan Expressway and arrived in Yangjiang City about 4 hours later. Yangjiang is a city surrounded by mountains and rivers. The city is clean and orderly, with shady trees on both sides of the road. We stopped at a well-reputed seafood restaurant and tasted the local specialty dishes - Yangjiang Salt-baked Chicken and Seafood Porridge. The salt-baked chicken is crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, while the seafood porridge is delicate and delicious. Every bite is a treat. First stop: Shili Silver Beach Sunshine, beach, and waves make up a beautiful picture. Walking on the soft beach, feeling the sea breeze, it seems that all the troubles have been blown away. Lunch recommendation: Seafood feast We tasted a rich seafood feast at a seafood restaurant on the island. The fresh shrimps, crabs, fish, and shellfish are mouth-watering, and every bite is the taste of the sea. Sunset: Mawei Island Standing on Mawei Island, watching the sunset slowly sinking into the sea level, the clouds on the horizon are dyed golden, and the beauty of this moment is unforgettable. Accommodation experience: Seaside homestay We chose a homestay facing the sea. We fell asleep to the sound of the waves at night and were awakened by the seagulls in the morning.
