Compared to West Lake, I prefer this citywalk route along the canal

Check out this treasure guide quickly. 📍📍Walk route : ➡️ Walk along the canal from south to north: 🚇 Line 3 Xiangji Temple Station → Fuyi Warehouse → Inblau Center → Xiangji Temple → Dadou Road Historical District → Xiaohe Straight Street → Xiaohe Park → Qiaoxi Historical District → Gongchen Bridge → 🚇 Line 5 Grand Canal Station 🔁 You can also walk in the reverse direction, or choose any point to visit, the route is flexible. 🚣‍♂️ Boat route: Take Line 1 water bus (only 3 r), board at Xinyi Wharf diagonally opposite Xiangji Temple, and get off at Gongchen Bridge Wharf. Enjoy the scenery along the way with willows and painted bridges, and the green curtains on both sides. It's very enjoyable to sit on the boat and watch the scenery. ✅✅ Recommended check-in + photo spots : Xiaohe Straight Street A treasure trove of artistic old streets, although not large, it is beautiful enough and particularly photogenic. You can sit in any teahouse or coffee shop for an entire afternoon, and it's absolutely stunning when the trumpet creeper blooms in summer! Xiaohe Park A cultural park transformed from the closed Xiaohe Oil Depot, the iconic modern industrial style "oil tank lantern" is a must-see. Xiangji Temple The juxtaposition of the ancient temple and modern buildings is very impressive. Xiangji Temple also has excellent vegetarian dishes, definitely worth a try. Dadou Road The road here is wider, and the tall plane trees on both sides create a strong atmosphere in the evening, making the leisurely walk pace very comfortable. You don't need to book tickets in advance for the water bus (you can pay on board), but you need to queue at the station at least 20 minutes in advance.
