"Immerse yourself in the dreamlike atmosphere." Passing through Hangzhou, I only had half a day to spare. The sun was blazing, and there were attractions and crowds everywhere. Just as I was feeling troubled, I suddenly remembered reading about the Silk Museum in Hangzhou a few days ago. This was perfect! As you step inside, you'll forget that you're in a museum. Beautiful courtyards, bridges over flowing streams, reflections in the lake, adorable white geese... Here, you'll find the history and development of Chinese silk, the origins of brocade and satin, the emperor's robes, horse-faced skirts, the evolution of the cheongsam... After admiring the beauty of Chinese silk, children can also visit the experience hall and enjoy the fun of making things by hand. The museum holds special exhibitions from time to time. During my visit, it was the "Nine Heavens Open" exhibition. Treasures from the Shaanxi Museum were on display. What touched me most was that all the exhibitions were free. I was incredibly grateful for their generosity. The only drawback was that there were limited rest areas in the museum. Visitors with weak health can take a break in the courtyard when the weather is cooler. An unforgettable afternoon in Hangzhou.
