Qiantang River Bridge

❤ Recommended reason: Qiantang River Bridge is located south of West Lake, on the Qiantang River near Liuhe Pagoda. It was designed by Chinese bridge expert Mao Yisheng and is the first double-deck bridge for both railway and highway designed and built by China. 🌟 Highlights: Qiantang River Bridge was built on August 8, 1934, and was blown up on December 23, 1937, to block the Japanese army from invading southward. It was successfully repaired in May 1948. 👍 Most recommended: The design life of Qiantang River Bridge is 50 years, but it has been in service for more than 30 years. Despite the bridge being overloaded, it is still intact. Today, this "strong bridge" still spans the Qiantang River.
