Harbin Summer · Sophia Square

The 4A-level scenic spot Sophia Square was built in 1997, covering an area of about 22,000 square meters. It is located on the beautiful southern bank of the Songhua River in Harbin, Heilongjiang Province, in the center of Harbin. The square consists of three parts: St. Sophia Church, the New Jewish Synagogue, and the Architectural Art Square. In September 1997, St. Sophia Church was restored and, with the approval of the Harbin Municipal Government, it was named the Harbin Architectural Art Gallery. Today's church and square have become a must-visit spot for tourists from all over the country to experience the Russian style of Harbin. We have visited multiple times in recent days, bought many souvenirs, and were deeply impressed by the church and the square.
