As expected, there were few people, and the hotel did not raise prices, so I chose one of the top three hotels in Hefei, The Langham, to experience it. ❤️ The hotel features a pink theme, with pink cars at the entrance, pink room cards, and pink lighting in the public areas. 1️⃣ Room: The room type I stayed in was a family suite, with floor-to-ceiling windows facing southeast. Not far to the east is the MixC Mall, and to the south is the stadium, offering a great view from the 40th floor. The room is decorated in British style, with double basins which is highly appreciated, and the hardware is very complete. 2️⃣ Lounge: The Langham Club, which is the executive lounge, is on the 44th floor, facing north, with views of Swan Lake, Anhui Broadcasting and Television Station, and even Dashu Mountain. Afternoon tea includes fruits, pastries, and drinks, and there is a buffet for happy hour in the evening. 3️⃣ Breakfast: Breakfast is served on the second floor restaurant, and it was particularly crowded during the Spring Festival, with an average variety of breakfast options, which I feel still has room for improvement. 4️⃣ Fitness Center: My child likes swimming, so we went to the swimming pool for three consecutive days. The pool has a skylight, so when the weather is good, sunlight can come in. There is a hot water pool by the pool, another hot water pool in the changing room, and a sauna room, which is quite a high-end setup. 5️⃣ Location: Located in the administrative district, Anhui Provincial Museum, Geological Museum, and MixC Mall are within walking distance, and it's also close to Hefei's three popular internet-famous spots. The nearest subway station is Swan Lake, where you can leisurely ride a shared bike. A taxi's starting fare can get you to Hefei Cha1972. 6️⃣ Cost-effectiveness: In the context of the national travel boom during this year's Spring Festival, staying in a five-star hotel in Hefei with breakfast, lounge access, and swimming for the price of a budget hotel in a popular city is quite cost-effective.
