Causeway Bay Specialty Dessert Shop

Visited a very Japanese-style cat-themed Cafe in Causeway Bay today. The decor is mainly Japanese-style wood, which is very characteristic of Japan and is the main reason that attracted us to check in 🤭 Let's talk about the food, bitter before sweet. Personally, I think this Cafe really excels in desserts. As for the main dishes, I feel they are just passable, but the Pancake and Napoleon are high-scoring. As for the service, it really needs improvement, perhaps because there are more young waiters, the service is not very good 😅 🌟 Aged Mango Mochi Ice Cream Napoleon $158 (9.3/10) The dessert looks great and tastes quite good. The mango is ripe and sweet, the Napoleon is fragrant and crispy, and the addition of mochi ice cream is a plus. 🌟 Japanese Strawberry Daifuku Pancake $148 (8.9/10) The most attractive part for me is the big piece of sticky rice skin, which is chewy and tasty. Strawberries are my favorite, and there's gluten-free Japanese pancake 🥞 with fruit, ice cream, and smooth cream inside, which has a clear layering and texture, and is quite tasty. 🌟 Truffle Flavored Grilled Scallops $138 (5/10) I must say, I am quite particular about food, so my expectations might be a bit high 🙏🏻 The scallops were frozen, with no truffle flavor, and the pasta was average, very bland. 🌟 Matcha Mount Fuji $56 （9.2/10） This one lives up to its name, indeed tasting the rich aroma of tea 🍵 and the smooth layered flavors, which is different from other shops. In summary, I think the Japanese desserts and drinks are good, but the pasta and service are a bit disappointing.
