Tian Tan Buddha

The Tian Tan Buddha, also known as the Big Buddha, stands prominently on Muk Yue Peak in the area of Po Lin Monastery. 'Tian Tan' translates to 'Altar of Heaven.' Including its lotus base, it reaches a height of 34 meters. The Tian Tan Buddha on Lantau Island in Hong Kong is an impressive bronze statue symbolizing stability. When you reach the top, make a wish with a focused mind and recite: 'Heaven connects to earth, earth connects to water, heaven listens, earth hears, heaven acknowledges, heaven protects, earth shields, and the gods bless.'
