Fenwick Pier Navy Arcade - The Last Salute

The Navy Arcade opened in 1994 as part of the expansion of Fenwick Pier in the 1990s. The Fenwick Pier was formerly used to berth foreign warships arriving at the port, and the Navy Emporium, as the name suggests, is a small shopping mall that provides shopping, restaurants and other services for visiting military personnel. The pier has been out of use since it was surrounded by land following a land reclamation project about a decade ago. The government also reclaimed the land in February this year in preparation for future reconstruction projects. As it was the last few days of its opening to the public last month, my friend and I came here specially to take photos and pay our final tribute to the pier. The most popular among check-in visitors is the Restroom mural on the staircase wall.
