Room🏚️: Whether it's the lobby, corridors, or rooms, due to the hotel's age, the single-story height is inevitably lower. After the 2023 redesign and renovation, it has taken on a new look. This time, I stayed in a corner room type that has fewer online reviews. The unique features include the bathroom with a sea view, the bedroom overlooking the Peninsula's Chanel butterfly knot 🎀, and the living room with a view of the Dior Christmas tree🎄. The overall style is Japanese, using shoji screens to separate four areas: a cloakroom, bedroom, living room, and bathroom. Breakfast🍳: Located on the first basement level (B1), which is actually the ground floor in terms of elevation, as the hotel lobby is built on a slope. The Victoria Harbour view is right outside. However, the breakfast area is relatively small, and queuing is common. Breakfast mainly features Western, Japanese, and Indian cuisine. The baked goods are delicious, and the Japanese dishes are exquisite. However, the Cantonese dim sum/Hong Kong-style dishes are quite average. French toast, rice noodle rolls, etc., are below par. Swimming pool🏊: The weather in Hong Kong is getting colder in December, but the outdoor pool is still heated, so swimming doesn't feel cold. In addition, the nearby hot tub is worth experiencing. The temperature is comparable to a hot spring, and you can overlook K11 and the Dior Christmas tree🎄 from above. Usually, we walk below, but the high-altitude view offers a unique perspective.
