#weekendgetaways This was one of our best weekend retreats after spending weeks on end in the concrete jungle, feeling so utterly exhausted. Rumah Hutan or Forest Sanctuary is usually fully booked on weekends but we were so lucky that day to snag the last available room. Its a tiny 30 square metre house built right on the riverbank, surrounded by a lush garden, with its cozy balcony ideal for sitting and enjoying the sound of the flowing water. On the first day, it was overcast and the water turned really muddy. But the next day, when the weather cleared up, the water became so crystal clear that we spent hours swimming, playing and soaking in the river, the cold water so refreshing that we didn’t want to leave. Organic vege farm with a HOHO cafe 🥒🌱🥑

#grouptravel This cafe is just located 5 minutes away from my house by driving and even since its launch around 2 years ago, it has became a good place for us and the local young people to visit to as this is the only cafe that is available in a small village here yet it offers a nice farm-themed environment overlooking the vege farm, scrumptious foods and a wide selection of coffee drinks + cakes. As a plus point, you can buy the organic vegetables here directly OR if you plan to have a 2 days 1 nights trip in the village, they do rent the accommodation as well next to the cafe!! Serendah River Retreat is located in a rainforest / fruit plantation of about 5 acres with a natural river stream (Sungai Selaru) running across the site. There are two houses here, Brickhouse & Woodhouse which each has a private access of a river section. Access is via a residential suburb in Serendah & a short 5 minute drive via a small road leads you to this tranquil place, surrounded with large forest trees, away from the concrete jungle, a 40 minute drive away from the centre of Kuala Lumpur. Sungai Lepoh Waterfall

Air Terjun Sungai Lepoh is an easily accessible hiking, waterfall and picnic site located in Selangor State Park, just ten minutes’ drive from the popular Hutan Lipur Sungai Congkak and Gunung Nuang Recreational Forest as well as thirty minutes’ drive from the equally famous Gabai Waterfalls. The area the waterfalls are in is surrounded by homestays, adventure companies and mostly simple nature resorts, all easily spotted during the hour-long drive it takes to get there from Kuala Lumpur city center. A long street filled with shop houses and more adventure outfits leads to the starting point of a 1.5 hour hike that takes you inside the beautiful forest where the waterfalls are situated. Clearly-marked signs are in place throughout the easy to moderate trail, which contains a steep section that may slow down even the fittest of hikers. Hotel near to Pavillion Kuala Lumpur

#freehotelstay I love to stay hotel , if the holiday is next to weekend i will search a hotel that never stay , in the past Selangor Holiday (Agong Bday), I choose this Grand Millenium Hotel in Bukit Bintang which located in center of shopping mall ( Pavillion KL , Fahrenheit,Lot 10,Starhill). The price on weekend is high and after my stay I think is not worth to stay , the room is old and the lift is quite slow . The breakfast is ok . Don’t expected to choose this hotel for celebration too , even you mentioned they will ignore . The cleaning staff knock the door on 11.50am for check out cleaning.

Hidden gem hot spring near town

A very nice place , this place will become an attraction place in Batang Kali very near soon. The pool temperature is about 40 degree celcius a bit lower compared to other hotspring so i think its a good start for people who new with hotspring treatment. At the current point of time, the restaurant is yet to be opened , is selling some simple food like nasi lemak , cup noodle , breads and so on . Now they have one public big pool and the 3 private rooms that can accomodate 6 to 10 ppl at time. Those who need more privacy can rent this one .We will come back again very soon! Hope they have annual pass can bought , so we can come more often. 😄

This Mural Street is actually very satisfying to stroll around. It is a back alley, one side of the wall is full of murals, and artificial turf is glued to the other wall. It is very feeling, and it feels a bit like being abroad. Moreover, KKB is not a popular tourist area. You can take pictures and check in at will in the mural street, and there is no so-called problem of queuing up to take pictures ! The back lane art street is well maintained and clean . Mural Street is located in the back alley of behind the shop and restaurants. As long as you are eating on the street, you can get there just around the corner.
