🏖 Amalfi Coast | Discover Italy's Stunning Coastline

As a newly popular travel destination, the Amalfi Coast is located on the southern side of the Sorrento Peninsula in southern Italy 🌊. It has been designated a World Heritage site due to its rugged terrain, beautiful scenery, and historic towns. 📍 Positano Put on a pair of comfortable shoes and hike the "Path of the Gods" with friends, enjoying the warm and pleasant Mediterranean sunshine. Overlook the rugged coastline and the colorful houses stacked on the cliffs, and experience the unique charm of southern Italy. Wander through traditional Italian alleys and vintage ceramic shops. In Positano, you can also visit the iconic local building—the Church of Santa Maria Assunta, and admire the dome's "Black Madonna and Child." The beach in Positano is a black pebble beach, so don't forget to bring a pair of sandals if you plan to swim 🏖️. 🚆 Train route: Roma Tiburtina —> Firenze S.M. Novella Station —> Lucca Station —> Diecimo-pescaglia Station 📍 Amalfi In the Middle Ages, Amalfi was a cradle for law schools and mathematicians, and it remains the heart of the Amalfi Coast. In the town, you can admire the Byzantine-style Amalfi Cathedral (Duomo di Amalfi) and the small Paper Museum (Museo della Carta). Don't miss the chance to taste the local specialty, limoncello 🍹, and experience the warm hospitality and culture. 📍 Ravello Ravello boasts the highest viewpoint on the Amalfi Coast. Compared to Positano, it attracts fewer tourists. The Villa Cimbrone, built on a massive rock facing the sea, offers expansive coastal views and a relaxing atmosphere. 🚌 The most convenient way to get from Amalfi to Ravello is by bus, with services running every half hour or hour. 📍 The Blue Grotto on Capri Island | Grotta Azzurra Here, you can witness the "Sky Mirror" inside the cave. The entrance is quite low, so visitors and boatmen need to lie flat on the small boat to enter. Once inside, countless light sources reflect from the water, merging with the azure sea, creating a magical and otherworldly scene. The boatmen often sing, making the experience truly romantic! 🚤 From Positano, you can take a boat to the Blue Grotto. You can choose a 2-hour island tour or a 1-hour direct trip to the Blue Grotto. #nature #amalfi #triptrain #italy #travelguide #positano

Cinque Terre

Much can be said about Cinque Terre, probably one of Italy’s most famous landmarks and part of the Unesco World’s Heritage list. As the name says, Cinque Terre consist of five villages: coming from West you got Monterosso al Mare, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola and Riomaggiore. Hallmark to all these villages of fishermen are their colourful houses latched on cliffs that make for incredible sights you’ll never see anywhere else. One of the most valuable things here is the ability to visit all these villages thanks to a few paths and hiking trails, so you could actually walk from Monterosso, the westernmost villages to Riomaggiore, the easternmost one, and back! Nowadays the area is always packed, so plan accordingly and try to avoid car as a means of transportation, parking lots are scarce and expensive and traffic can discourage even the bravest driver! Since every village, except Corniglia, is well connected, you should take the train into consideration: fares are cheap and rides are very short (about 5 mins each). #italy #liguria #cinqueterre #awesomepic #couplestrip #italytravel #italybeauties #seaside #town

Cinque Terre

Cinque Terre is area in western #italy defined by 5 very small villages. The traveling between them is possible by train that runs really often and is also very cheap. The villages needs less than 1km walking in each place so it is easily explorable. #happynewyear
