First, reached Hwajowon Flower and Bird Park. They got adorable animals and birds where you are able to get up close and personal with them, especially feed and pet the cute alpacas in the field, will need to take one and half hour to roam around the place. The place is safe where each get close to animals area are accompanied by zoo-keeper. Next we head to O'sulloc Tea Museum, to understand the information about tea. There is general tea session at the counter around 15 mins about how and where tea is produce and we get to taste one of the choice. There is cafe where we get our breaks for chilling and shopping for tea related around that area. Popular innisfree brand store is around the corner as always attract a big crowd to shop. We have early lunch at Jungmun Tourist Complex where you may order any of preference, popular dishes are seafood related. The wall is filled with idols’ autographs and pictures of recognization of restaurant. We head to Cheonjiyeon Falls, one of the famous waterfall in Jeju, famous for path to the waterfall goes through a garden of subtropical plants. Little hike is required during this trip. Around 45 mins is required depends on the crowd in the area. Jusangjeollidae is one of popular spot to view volcanic rock formation at the southern coast of Jeju Island, South Korea. The cliff was formed when the lava from the island's volcano flowed into the sea. A must try fresh drink Jeju mandarine which appearing at every tourist spot and supermarket. #100waysoftravel Kick off my day, breakfast at paik’s bakery and their puffs pastries are thumbs up, I even take-away in a cooler bag and flew them back home. Took a bus (able to get bus card from any convenience store) towards Tapdong Plaza where there’s a lovely path way by the seaside with statues along the path, great for pictures. Took a slow stroll towards YongDam area and head towards Antoinette Cafe & Bistro which suited at a hill-slope. The cafe has great ocean views and varieties of pastries and bakery to choose from, lovely place to chill indoors as well as outdoor. Also try to spot Haenyeo (women divers) in the ocean waters as well. After that head down the hill-slope and travel back to city centre for some shopping. (Lotte Mart and three multi story daiso building) For dinner, in Korea must try their chicken and beer combination trend, any fried chicken store is good enough for the craves. Lastly, had my sweet tooth at cafe ChaCha coffee where they got cute looking tasty desserts which I can’t miss it, ended my sweet day.

I've passed by several times, but only after making a reservation did I realize how close it was from Panpo. Walking through the narrow alleys with stone walls, I saw various colorful flowers and trees blooming at the Flower God's Guesthouse. When I checked in at sunset, the warm sunshine filled the entire house. I enjoyed reading books and organizing photos quietly in the yard. It was a place I missed so much, and I also sorted out my memories here. The cabin was changed to a private room, so I checked in early and left a few photos in front of the cabin when there were no people around! One of my favourite island in Asia, an island filled with beautiful scenery ever since it volcanic eruptions million year ago. It was often called Seongsan Sunrise Peak where this is the best place to see sunrise. At the same time women in Jeju Island had to learn to dive to catch abalone, clam, sea cucumber and seaweeds, These women are called "haenyo" and known all over the country to dive in an ocean as deep as 10 to 20 meters without oxygen equipment.

Brave and Fascinating:Haenyeo

Mum , Grandma, would you bring me some oyster and seafood? Totally fascinated by the Haenyeo or women Diver in Jeju Island. No amount of words would be enough for me to admire all these heroine in going about their daily routine basically all their life. It is indeed a great sight to behold. Growing up, my mum was the bedrock of the family. she provided all our siblings with enough food and care without prejudice. Cheers mum, I love you. Woman really can do great things. In fact the culture of Haenyeo dated back to centuries close to 400 years. There is a Haenyeo museum where you can learn about these brave women and their history. Some women even dive into their old age, even in their 80s. I salute you all these incredible ladies. UNESCO even awarded Intangible Human Heritage of Humanity to these Haenyeo. In Jeju island you can visit the site where there are performances of Haenyeo. They just go about about their own business. Around the island, you are still able to see the random diving of Haenyeo which is not staged. It is incredible site. To all these Haenyeo, I give you my upmost respect and admiration.

Nice place small beaches but it’s hard to get taxi to the airport , but you can take a bus to the Jeju airport there so many foods around the sand is mix white and black:) there many Palm tree 🌴 around

Hyeopjae Beach Jeju

It's located next to famous cafes like Monsangde Aewol and Noted Jeju, so it's great to visit while sightseeing around the area! This place is famous for its sunset, so I went there an hour before sunset to get a good spot to watch it! Seongeup Folk Village

Seongeup Folk Village is one of the most famous destinations in Jeju. The entire village is well preserved and the people of old Jeju. Until now there are people living in this place and even the one of the oldest person in Jeju live in this place. When you enter the site, there are village residents volunteers that guide the tourist inside the village. They speak good English which makes it easy for ua to understand the history of thia village. There is a room in the village where you can have free honey to taste and they also sell that if you want to have a bottle. They will explain the content of each honey bottles and their uses.
