Xitang Travel Guide | Save money and still have a great time

▫️The entrance ticket to Xitang Ancient Town Scenic Area is 95r/person, but there is no entrance fee before 8 am and after 5 pm, unless you want to enter the small scenic spots in the ancient town that charge a fee, this way you can save 95r. ▫️Enter the ancient town before 8 am, there are fewer tourists, and the light is soft, you can take pictures without disturbance. After 5 pm, you can enjoy the night view of the water town, which is very beautiful. The photos taken in the morning and evening are good. ▫️So it's best to stay in Xitang for one night, enter the ancient town after 5 pm on the first day, and enter again before 8 am on the second day, so you can enjoy the ancient water town at all times without getting tired. ▫️There are many accommodations in and around the Xitang Scenic Area. For the same price, the conditions around the scenic area are better than those inside. The riverside inns/homestays in the scenic area are all renovated old houses, with many mosquitoes in summer and very damp in winter. The price is not high, the conditions are limited, enter with caution. ▫️Xitang Scenic Area has several entrances and exits. If you use map navigation, it is usually the main entrance and exit, the one at the first parking lot. From here to the main attraction, the Misty Corridor, it is more than 1 kilometer, about a 20-minute walk. In fact, you can enter from the Sujia Alley entrance, a 2/3-minute walk to the Misty Corridor, and the second parking lot is next to the entrance, but parking spaces are limited. It is also convenient to enter and exit from the nearby Tangjia Alley and Wangjia Alley. ▫️The scenic area is not very large, with one east-west parallel river street (main attractions), and one north-south parallel river street, both have Misty Corridors. There are many Hanfu rental shops in the scenic area. It is very convenient to eat in the scenic area. There are many stinky tofu, wonton, and noodles from Guan Lao Tai. Try not to eat regular meals, the cost performance is low. ▫️Xitang Scenic Area has two hand-rowing boat docks. One is at the Songzi Laifeng Bridge, and the other is at the Wolong Bridge. The hand-rowing boat routes of the two docks are different: the one at Songzi Laifeng Bridge goes along the east-west river, while the one at Wolong Bridge goes along the north-south river, and the two routes basically do not overlap. ▫️The dock at Songzi Laifeng Bridge is an 8-person boat, with a ticket price of 30r/person (with a scenic area ticket), 50r/person (without a ticket). Charter a boat for 200r (with a ticket), 380r (without a ticket). The whole journey is 30 minutes; the dock at Wolong Bridge is a 6-person boat, with a ticket price of 30r/person (with a scenic area ticket), 50r/person (without a ticket). Charter a boat for 150r (with a ticket), 280r (without a ticket). The whole journey is 25 minutes. ▫️The scenic area has the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 5th, and 6th parking lots, the larger the number, the farther away from the scenic area, 20r for overnight. There are also some free parking lots, such as the parking lot opposite PLUMP. You can call the hotel/inn/homestay owner, they know where you can park for free. ▫️Both Jiashan Station and Jiashan South Station have buses to the scenic area, which are very convenient and save money.
