Mind blowing scenery of Joshua tree national Park

Joshua Tree is such a cool place. The landscape blew me away – the big rocks, the weird Joshua trees, and that wide-open desert. The hikes were awesome, especially with the sun setting behind the rocks. It felt like I was on another planet. Even though I had an SUV, you could totally get around with any car, as long as it’s not summer when it gets too hot, roads, are mostly gravel or dust, but totally safe and well-maintained (just check for weather, I'm not sure if it ever rains there, but if it does, I guess it's better to be in a SUV). One thing: definitely bring plenty of water and wear sturdy shoes. The terrain can be tricky. And stay for stargazing – the sky is unreal! #nationalparks #100waysoftravel #usa
