Keeree Mantra is a restaurant located in Kanchanaburi province, where you can enjoy the natural atmosphere and beautiful views of a small lake while dining. The food here focuses on authentic Thai flavors and uses fresh local ingredients. The restaurant's signature dishes include fried fish with herbs and spicy jungle curry, both of which are rich in flavor and delicious.
The restaurant has a peaceful and friendly atmosphere, making it ideal for family meals or gatherings with friends. The establishment is designed in a simple yet luxurious contemporary Thai style, making it a perfect place to relax and immerse yourself in nature after sightseeing in Kanchanaburi.
Kanchanaburi Skywalk
Kanchanaburi Skywalk is a new landmark in Kanchanaburi province, located along the banks of the River Kwai. There is an entrance fee and a fee for shoe covers to walk on the glass floor. Shoes are stored in lockers, and after the visit, you can either take the shoe covers home for future use or leave them at the designated drop-off point before exiting.
After enjoying the evening view from the Skywalk, you can explore and find something to eat at the Song Khwae Walking Street Market, which is located just below the Skywalk. The market opens in the evening from 4 PM to 10 PM.
Kanchanaburi Private Car Day Tour
Private car day tour, 12 hours with a nanny car: 4700 THB. The travel agency can assist with reservations and payment of restaurant deposits, as well as booking the zoo and giraffe photo session. After the tour, we tipped the driver 200 THB.
09:00 Depart from the hotel in the city
10:00 Bubble in the forest
A deposit of 200 THB per person, which can be deducted from the meal amount. When we arrived, there were already many people in line at the entrance. It's a truly Instagram-worthy cafe, perfect for photos. There are many seating areas, and we chose to sit outdoors, though it was extremely hot.
Dishes: Shrimp cakes, stir-fried noodles, basil pork, and curry soft-shell crab. The flavors were quite good, and we all enjoyed them.
13:30 The Bridge on the River Kwai
Initially, we didn't understand the significance of this attraction. After some research, we learned that it has historical importance. During World War II, the Japanese army occupied Thailand and Burma and spent 17 months building this railway with prisoners of war, connecting Thailand and Burma.
At the entrance, there are many stalls selling food, drinks, clothes, hats, and souvenirs. Including photo time, about half an hour is enough to visit.
15:00 Kanchanaburi Wildlife Sanctuary
Kanchanaburi Zoo + Giraffe Photo Session, 1550 THB per person. We booked the giraffe photo session for 15:00. We arrived early, so we took the park tour bus first. Before boarding, you can buy carrots, 100 THB for two baskets. When the bus reaches the animal area, it will stop, and you can open the windows to feed the animals. Along the way, there are antelope, tigers, lions, leopards, giraffes, zebras, and camels. Before entering the tiger, lion, and leopard areas, the driver will ensure all windows are closed to prevent any danger. You cannot open the windows during this part of the tour.
After the tour, it's time for the giraffe photo session! The staff will help take photos and videos. They provide two baskets of carrots, and when the carrots are finished, the photo session ends. We took photos together, and the staff took many shots and videos for us. We ended up with thousands of photos in about 10 minutes.
The last stop: The Village Farm to Cafe
We arrived around 4 PM. No reservation was needed. The exterior is barn-style, and the interior is spacious with many seats. There are many green plants and large floor-to-ceiling windows, giving a forest-like feel.
Dishes: Melon turtle pineapple bread, which was a bit dry. Another dish was Tom Yum Kung omelet rice, which tasted quite good.
The 3199 Cafe', a hidden gem in Kanchanaburi!
#myhiddengems
The 3199 Cafe' Latya is truly a hidden gem in Kanchanaburi, Thailand. It was an unexpected bonus when we were heading to the Erawan National Park, we stopover to take a break here. The cafe is small but has really nice ambience and chic decor. I love the scenic views on the upper floor, a view of beautiful landscape and mountain, it was cozy and refreshing. Moreover, the environment is absolutely a wonderfull place for taking insta- worthy photos.
Yeaah...the owner is very friendly, well-manner and they serve good coffee, snacks and desserts were flavourful & delicious too. They also offer a small number of Thai & Western food. The top notch is the reasonable price!
▶Overall rating: 4.8/5, highly recommend!
▶The 3199 Cafe' Latya is open daily from 8.30am - 9pm, except Tuesday & Thursday from 8.30am - 6pm.

Testament of Nature’s Beauty: Monkey Pod Tree, Kanchanaburi 🇹🇭
#thailandtrip
📍Monkey Pod Tree Kanchanaburi, Thailand
One of the attractions that you shouldn’t miss while travelling to Kanchanaburi would be the Giant Raintree (Monkey Pod Tree). The raintree stood tall and rise majestically, the raintree is so massive it felt like a giant umbrella standing underneath the tree! It is indeed a testament to the beauty of nature, leaving us in awe! We have never seen such a big tree, it is out of this world! The ambiance around the area was rather serene and tranquil, inviting visitors and locals to hang around the area, take a brisk walk around the area and just spend some time taking in the view! The entrance fee is free of charge, with plenty of parking spots available at the area. Pretty easily accessible if you have a car in Kanchanaburi. Lovely place to visit and worth a visit!
Iconic Tiger Cave Temple in Kanchanaburi 🇹🇭
#thailandtrip
📍Wat Tham Suea, Kanchanaburi, Thailand
Visited the most iconic Buddhist temple in Kanchanaburi, which is Wat Tham Suea, also known as Tiger Cave Temple. The temple was built atop of the mountain, in the middle of paddy fields. We parked our car at the car park and hiked up to the top. The flight of stairs was so steep and pretty challenging, and hiking almost the hot summer weather in Thailand makes it even more challenging. The architectures was very impressive with vibrant colours! The view at the top of the temple was absolutely stunning and breathtaking. The ambiance was peaceful and serene, offering landscape views of paddy fields from above! No fee is charged, just donations. Would recommend!
Stunning Views of The Death Railway in Kanchanaburi 🇹🇭
#thailandtrip
📍Thamkra Sae Bridge, Kanchanaburi
Such a beautiful place full of history dated back to during World War II, where this death railway was built. The view of the railways and the river was stunning and we were shocked by how they managed to build the railway in such a short period of time during World War II. Very impressive work. Visitors can walk on the railway to get to the other side and the train will make sure that there is no visitors on the railway when it is approaching. The walk on the railway can be quite dangerous, so visitors have to be more careful while doing so! Stunning views and visitors are able to capture a lot of instagrammable photos! There is also a cave on the other side with a Buddha statue in it. Be sure to ride on the train to catch the beautiful scenery in Kanchanaburi, definitely worth the visit!
Cute Café with Stunning River Views in Kanchanaburi 🇹🇭
#thailandtrip
📍Raft Dara Erawan, Kanchanaburi, Thailand
Stumbled upon this pretty and aesthetic café at the road side while we were driving to Erawan National Park. The café is shaded, open air with stunning river view! Love the aesthetic decor of the café utilising lemon trees and cute lemon carts! The view of the river was absolutely breathtaking and unreal, such a fabulous place to stop by especially after the long hike at Erawan falls. We ordered their orange coffee, which was such an interesting blend of citrusy and coffee flavours, but was great for the hot and humid weather! Staffs were helpful and friendly, love it! The ambiance and atmosphere was serene and peaceful, we could easily spend half a day here! Would definitely stopping by at this cute café for a cuppa when heading to or back from Erawan Falls!

Thai Kanchanaburi Paper Mill
The original name of this place is Thai Military Paper Factory, which is called the first industrial museum of Thailand. It was built during World War II. It was the first paper factory in Kanchanaburi that produced paper from bamboo pulp to print its own banknotes. The building is made of reinforced concrete. The architectural style before World War II was influenced by the early modern art of Thailand, which emphasized simplicity and utility. There was a tall chimney, which was a prominent feature of the building at that time. If anyone has seen The Last of Us, we recommend it. It has a great atmosphere.

Kanmachi Cafe
Kan Machi Café, a Japanese café in Kanchanaburi
This café is like a miniature Japanese town in Kanchanaburi. But in the word “small”, there are many seating areas to choose from and, most importantly, there are many photo spots. While waiting for the food, we took some photos. Let me tell you that in this café, people who want to take photos must buy something from the shop for 60 baht or more (which is the price per person), such as water and snacks in the shop, before they can take photos. Or if some people don’t want to buy anything from the shop, they can pay 60 baht to take photos.

Train to Kanchana Buri 🚂 🚊
Kanchanaburi is a town in west Thailand. It’s known for the Death Railway, built during WWII. Train from Bangkok – Kanchanaburi operates 2 times per day; one at 7:48am and another one at 1:48pm. It leaves from Thonburi Station in Bangkok and usually takes around 3 hours. The train ticket cost 100thb per person and there is not seat number for your ticket, you can seat anywhere. Other ways, you can take a bus, taxi or rent a car. It costs more, but faster. Kanchana Buri full of nature, but it’s quite hot to go there in this season. There’s grab and rented motorbikes to go around town.

2 nights in Kanchanaburi 🇹🇭
I stayed at The Zeit Hotel which is right on the River Kwai. Very nice location. About 1 kilometer walk to the famous River Kwai Bridge. The hotel rooms are a bit outdated. Other than that everything was great. I enjoyed the sunset right at the hotel’s restaurant. Plus right next door is a popular cafe/restaurant, Tongkan. The morning walk to the bridge and catching the train was nice. Overall, was a great trip.

Kanchanaburi Tourist Attraction
Getting to travel in Thailand?
Kanchanaburi is one of the provinces located just 2-3 hours drive from Bangkok, the place full of natural creatures and resources, and one of the must-go places during raining seasons too. Normally, people have no ideas where they can go if it rains, but place is definitely still go-able and enjoyable during/after the rain #yearofrabbit
Maple Gardens @Kanchanaburi TH
#yearofrabbit #newyearadventure #thailand
Our first trip in 2023, and our first destination is Kanchanaburi, Thailand. Kanchanaburi is a town in western Thailand about 3-4 hours from Bangkok.
Kanchanaburi has many historical sites to visit, including the famous Death Railway and Erawan Falls, etc. and the newest attraction, Maple Gardens. We were amazed by how large these bottle gourds are.
The admission fee is 120 Thb per person. You can enjoy the beautiful flowers and Longgan trees, you can also eat longgan inside for free! However, you are not permitted to bring the longan outside, just eat it there!😁🫰💕 #tripblazers
Glass Bridge Kanchaburi TH 🇹🇭
📍Kanchanaburi is one of Thailand's most awesome provinces, located 3-4 hours from Bangkok.
This is just a day trip, and we arrived around 10 a.m., when it wasn't too crowded. We paid 60 THB for admission and were given these cloth socks. The view near the river is relaxing, as you can see. Visit this if you're thinking of visiting Kanchanaburi after visiting the Death Railway! 🤩 #yearofrabbit #newyearadventure #tripblazers . 💕🫰
You & Me Cafe Kanchanaburi 🇹🇭🫰
📍 A must try cafe in Kanchanaburi Thailand,
Their food is delicious, and the atmosphere is pleasant. The food is reasonably priced, ranging between 100 and 130 THB per meal. There are many beautiful photo opportunities nearby, and the area is very quiet.
Kanchanaburi Thailand is a 3-4 hour drive from Bangkok, so if you are visiting other attractions in Kanchanaburi, include this cafe on your itinerary. It is best when you want to rest for a while. #yearofrabbit #newyearadventure
Sunset at Kanchanaburi Skywalk
The Kanchanaburi Skywalk is a relatively new attraction, situated at the confluence of the Khwae Yai River and Phachi River. Take in a spectacular bird’s eye view (sunset time would be stunning) of the town from atop Kanchanaburi! Admission is 60 baht as of time of this writing; shoe covers are mandatory at the attraction and are included with this price, with staff mentioning that you can bring them along with you on a future visit for a discount. There are also complimentary lockers that will fit a small bag and an elevator to bring you up to the top of the attraction.
Let me introduce the beautiful village a bit
This place called E-Tong Village Pilok mine is located in Thong Pha Phum district, Kanchanaburi adjacent to the Thai-Burma border which in the past used to be a prosperous mining town but after the mine closed both Thai and Burmese villagers who settled here still live as before. Making the charm of this old mining town remain. There is a small lake in front of the village and hidden in the valley also the viewpoint called Nern Chang Seuk is so amazing for sunset and sunrise. Another spot is Jok Ka Din waterfall which I posted before really stunning waterfall even though it's not too big but it's full of charming #myvlogtrip
