Hyogo Prefectural Museum of Art

I recently visited the Hyogo Prefectural Museum of Art, a beautiful place near Nada Station that is truly astonishing! This building is considered a symbol of recovery from the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake, and since its opening in 2002, it has been attracting many visitors. The Hyogo Prefectural Museum of Art was designed by the famous Japanese architect Tadao Ando, with a building area of about 28,000 square meters, making it one of the largest structures in the western region. Facing the sea, it is filled with the unique aspects of Ando's architectural style, and every corner is a perfect spot for photography. On the museum's rooftop, the work 'Kobe Frog' by Dutch artist Florentijn Hoffmann is displayed, becoming one of the symbols of the museum. In addition, the exhibition rooms house a collection of over 10,000 works of art from Japan and abroad, including works by artists related to Hyogo Prefecture. After visiting the museum, you can relax in the restaurant and café, enjoying delicious cuisine.
