Practical 3-day, 2-night Kuala Lumpur travel guide.

I just got back from Malaysia and wanted to share my 3-day, 2-night travel guide for Kuala Lumpur. 1. Transportation: I flew from Shenzhen to Kuala Lumpur on Shenzhen Airlines, and also flew back on Shenzhen Airlines (from Penang to Shenzhen). The flight was about 4 hours and the free baggage allowance was 23 kg. 2. Internet: I have a China Mobile SIM card and activated international roaming. I bought a data package before I left (you can buy it on the China Mobile mini program or Alipay). It was CNY 28 per day for 3 GB of data. You can buy as many days as you need. It's buy one get one free, so it's more cost-effective if two people buy it together. We bought 6 days for two people, so it was CNY 64 per person. Incoming and outgoing calls were CNY 1 per minute. Alternatively, you can buy a SIM card when you arrive in Kuala Lumpur. After you collect your luggage at the airport, turn left and there are a few kiosks selling SIM cards. The prices are similar. One of my friends bought a 65 GB data card for MYR 49. It was valid for 30 days and they helped us install the card. 3. Accommodation: We stayed in downtown Kuala Lumpur, near the Petronas Twin Towers. The location was convenient and there were shopping malls nearby. We stayed in two hotels (InterContinental and Wyndham Suites) and both were very good. The service was good, the bedding was comfortable, the rooms were spacious and bright, and they both had swimming pools and gyms. Breakfast was included and the staff spoke Chinese. 4. Attractions: We visited the Petronas Twin Towers, Kuala Lumpur Tower, Pink Mosque, Central Market, Kwai Chai Hong, Petaling Street, Durian Market, etc. We also took the monorail. We mainly walked or took taxis. Remember to download the Grab taxi app and Google Maps. 5. Dining: There are many Chinese people in Kuala Lumpur, so there are many Chinese restaurants. You don't have to worry about food. However, the local food is a bit sweet, so people from some provinces might not be used to it. You can also try Malaysian food. In addition, if you like durian, you're in luck in Kuala Lumpur. The durian here is cheap and delicious. You can really eat your fill. For example, the price of Musang King is about MYR 40-80 per kg. Some varieties are only about MYR 10 per kg. 6. Shopping: Our hotel was near Pavilion Kuala Lumpur. You can also go shopping at the duty-free shops at Kuala Lumpur International Airport. The prices are better than in China. 7. Lastly: Remember to bring a light jacket when you travel to Malaysia, because the air conditioning in the malls, airports, and all indoor areas is very low.
