Independence Square

This square is home to the world's tallest flagpole, which is the national flag of Malaysia, which was raised at midnight on August 30, 1957, when Malaysia gained independence from England. Opposite the square is the Sultan Abdul Samad Building, which has become a symbol of Malaysia. This building is a combination of Indian and Arab architecture. The dome is 40 meters high, and the clock tower stands tall, showing off the beauty of the building. At night, there are twinkling lights all around, adding to the beauty of the building.
