Kunming West Hill attraction for tourists

#travelinginchina Take Line 3 to Xishan Subway Station. Once out, you'll find Tea Horse Flower Street, a snack - filled place. There's a ticket booth at its entrance for the formal scenic spot. The walk to the scenic spot gate is about 5km, so it's far; better to take other transport. The bus stops at Nie Er's Tomb, which isn't very interesting. Just swipe your ticket and enter. On the left at the entrance, there's a 25 - yuan cable car up the mountain for those with low energy. I chose the battery - car road and after walking 1km, found a right - hand path leading to the small stone forest. A half - hour climb gets you to the cableway end. Left is Longmen, and I first went to Lingxu Pavilion. Right leads to the highest peak, which takes another half - hour to reach if you're physically fit. After reaching the top, return the same way and head to Longmen Scenic Area. Walk along the road, go down a middle cave, and keep going to Longmen. After passing some spots, take pictures at Longmen and continue until you exit the small Longmen scenic area. Then, take the Qianbuyan Trail to go down. It has a thousand steps and is a bit wild, so be careful if you have leg problems. The end point is Longmen Ecological Park, where you can take a taxi to other places.
