Budget-Friendly Taiwanese Eatery in Kwun Tong

On Saturday, I went to Kwun Tong to look at building materials and stopped by this Taiwanese eatery for afternoon tea. The place was packed, with a few people already queuing at the door, while the neighboring restaurant had only a few customers. Ordered a variety of food and drinks, each dish looked very appealing. The snacks were small in portion, so I ordered a few more to try. Bubble Milk Tea A large cup, ordered with less sugar and ice. The flavor was rich, and the pearls were chewy. Taro Fresh Milk The taro inside was smooth and delicate, perfectly paired with the milk. Honey Glazed Seaweed Pork Ribs Rice The pork ribs were fried to perfection and drizzled with sweet honey glaze, accompanied by seaweed, cabbage, pickles, and green onions. It was a perfect match with rice! Cheese Ham and Egg Pancake I always love egg pancakes, and this one had plenty of stretchy cheese. Loved it! Not Takoyaki The texture was firm and not crumbly, with chewy octopus pieces inside. Fried Fresh Milk and Taro Sandwich Called a 'two-word sandwich' because it's thinner than a regular sandwich. The taro filling between the biscuits was surprisingly delicious! The fried fresh milk was very crispy, with a sweet and milky flavor. This Taiwanese eatery offers a wide variety of food at affordable prices. I found out that if you follow their IG, you get a 10% discount on afternoon tea, making it even more worth it.
