The morning in Versailles

Versailles in France is considered by many to be one of Paris's tourist attractions, the Palace of Versailles, located more than twenty kilometers west of the city center of Paris, administratively belonging to the Yvelines department, with the Versailles district being the area where the palace is located. It is commonly associated with the Greater Paris area. Since the Middle Ages, Versailles has been a royal domain, and in the early 17th century, in 1623, Louis XIII designated this area as a royal hunting ground and began the construction of the palace. Later, Louis XIV moved to Versailles in the mid to late 17th century and began the large-scale construction of the Palace of Versailles. By 1678, the French royal family moved to Versailles, and the Palace of Versailles officially served as the royal palace. Subsequently, a city gradually formed here, becoming a residential area for nobles and wealthy merchants. The hotel I chose for this trip is adjacent to the Palace of Versailles, and looking at the map, it is very close to the gardens of the palace. Travel information says the garden is free, and I naturally assumed that the garden would be open-style, allowing for a morning walk nearby to enjoy the royal treatment. Haha, thinking about it, I was too naive. After breakfast, as usual, I took a walk near the hotel, feeling that it was better than a garden, every block was so quiet and beautiful, the buildings, streets, churches, flowers, and trees were all so exquisite and lovely, pleasing to the eye. There were hardly any pedestrians on the road, with only a few young people running past occasionally. The houses, the trees, the flowers, the grass, all made one's mood pleasant, not wanting to leave. Versailles is like a big garden. In addition to the Palace of Versailles, there are other royal-related attractions in the vicinity, such as the Saint Louis Cathedral, the Marie-Antoinette Estate, the Versailles Stables, etc. When you come to Versailles, don't miss the scenery around Versailles.
