Celebrating New Year in London

Spending New Year's Eve in London with my girlfriend was an incredible experience, especially from the Blue Zone viewpoint. Despite standing shoulder to shoulder for over two hours, which was more exhausting than my military training days, sharing a kiss with my girlfriend made it all worthwhile. However, City Social was a major disappointment. We booked a 5 PM to 7 PM slot for the 4 Course New Year’s Eve Tasting Menu at £120 per person, and I'll share more details later. The only redeeming feature was the view, which included the iconic Swiss Re building. I was rejected from their Actuarial Graduate Program. On the way, we stumbled upon the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China and China Construction Bank, as well as Allianz, where I also faced rejection for an Actuarial Analyst position. We stayed at Threadneedles, Autograph Collection for three nights from December 30th to January 1st, costing £1065.
