White Horse Temple

Basic Information White Horse Temple is located at No. 6, National Highway 310, Chanhe Hui District, Luoyang City, Henan Province. It is the first government-run temple built after Buddhism was introduced to China, and is known as the "First Ancient Temple in China." Most of the existing buildings are from the Yuan, Ming, and Qing dynasties, and a large number of Yuan dynasty lacquered statues are preserved. Opening Hours April 1–November 30: 7:40 am–6:40 pm, last entry at 6 pm; December 1–March 31: 8 am–5:30 pm, last entry at 5 pm. Ticket Information Full price: CNY 35/person, half price: CNY 17.5/person. Children under 12 years old or under 1.4 meters tall, seniors over 60 years old, etc. are free of charge; minors aged 12–18, students with a bachelor's degree or below, teachers, etc. can enjoy a half-price discount. Tour Route You can visit in the order of Qiyun Pagoda Courtyard–White Horse Temple–International Buddhist Temple Area.
