Pathfinder Episode 23: Thousand Buddha Cave in Lvliang, Shanxi

Arrived at the Thousand Buddha Cave in Jiaokou County, Lvliang City at 11:00 noon. The gate of the Thousand Buddha Cave is right next to the Subei route, five meters away, very close. 🌸I assure the government that when I passed through Jiaokou County, Lvliang City from the national highway, I really thought the Thousand Buddha Cave by the roadside was a ruin at first glance: The gate is wide open, the outer wall is dilapidated, there is no one around, and you can enter and exit at will.​ Only when I looked closely at the mark at the gate did I know it was a national key cultural relic, this... that... Shanxi's cultural relics are really too abundant! The Daxiong Treasure Hall is a grotto built in the Yuan Dynasty, with a total of 1003 Buddha statues on the side walls, hence the name Thousand Buddha Cave. The rest of the buildings are relics from the Ming and Qing Dynasties. 🌸There are many statues in the side hall, and I actually found the eldest brother Sun Wukong at the corner of the last row of Buddha statues!!
