The Imperfect Experience at The Venetian Macao

Returning to Macau, we chose the renowned five-star resort - The Venetian Macao. The hotel features all-suite accommodations, not only offering spacious rooms but also showcasing a sense of understated luxury in its decor, exuding grandeur. Suite Type: Bella Deluxe Suite Recommended: ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Service: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Cleanliness: ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Transportation: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (There's a shopping mall and various free shuttle buses downstairs) Upon reaching the front desk, the hotel staff proactively asked if we needed drinking water, which was a nice touch. However, the room wasn't ready until 5:00 PM. The first impression of the room was its size, but it lacked the usual division of a suite, and with two televisions, the space tended to be noisy. The layout of the suite was a bit unusual; normally, one would expect the living room to lead to the bedroom. However, in this suite, the bed was the first thing you saw upon entering, and you had to go downstairs to reach the living room, which felt quite odd. In terms of security, despite the mall being just downstairs, it was not taken lightly; there were guards at the entrances, and access required a card swipe, which was reassuring. For dining, the mall downstairs offered a wide variety of choices. Just around the corner from the elevator exit of the North Wing suites was the Food Court. The prices were not very cheap, but they were generally in line with Hong Kong people's tastes. Regarding transportation, the hotel provided various free shuttle buses to and from places like Taipa Ferry Terminal and Zhuhai, which was very convenient. The only downside was that the waiting area lacked air conditioning, making it uncomfortable in hot weather. As for cleanliness, the hotel needs significant improvement to meet the standards of a five-star hotel. There were used tea bags left in the drawer under the TV from previous guests; the sofa was not very clean; the windows seemed like they hadn't been wiped in a long time, offering a blurry view; and the bathroom floor was a bit sticky, which was inappropriate. Overall, if there were noticeable improvements in cleanliness, it would be worth returning to.
