In 1974, it was officially renamed Yunnan Provincial State-owned Mile Dongfeng Farm. In 2011, the Mile County Dongfeng Farm Management Bureau was established. In 2013, Mile County was upgraded to a city and renamed Mile City Dongfeng Farm Management Bureau.
