Bukit Kepong museum - Johor brief getaway

A historical museum with loads of information located in a refurbish colonial building. The museum located next to Sg Muar, within Muar district - an hour drive or 54km away from Muar town. The museum has become a referance spot for local historical enthusiast. The existing building was used to be a police post, burnt down in year 1950. The 2 story museum consists of information board about the building, a reenacted melodrama of the typical police post in the old days, its barrack and family living room reminds us of the old good day. The museum also act as a memorial to those affected by the incident happened. The decor of a typical living room of Malaysia family in the 70's will caught your eye as the furniture was kind of not in existance anymore.
