Romantic dinner in Munich

Germany is a food haven where many Michelin starred restaurants were founded. I was told that Restaurant Pfistermuhle is currently not a Michelin starred restaurant but there is a high chance that it will one day become one. Of course, I gotta check out the place after hearing that. Food was exceptional! We were served freshly baked bread to start our dinner. My steak was well seared yet still red in the middle - just like how I like my steak medium rare. Each dish looked absolutely like a piece of art, and it was such a delight every time food was served at our table. The service was a little disappointing though. Firstly, it was quite difficult for us to get service as we were seated tucked in a little corner. Secondly, our mains took so long to come. A waiter came and brought us the dessert menu thinking that we've already had our mains (probably since there weren't any plates on the table) while we were still waiting for our mains. Felt like a funny moment thinking back, but at that point in time, I was just hangry. Overall, the meal was quite expensive. Granted, food was stellar and the place was really fancy and romantic. But the service was lacklustre and I don't see myself returning in the near future. #food #restaurant #munich #germany #michelin #steak
