I was so excited I cried. If you come to Nanjing, you must stay at this hotel!!!

The Ritz-Carlton, Nanjing The suite is very large, with a full 130 square meters, but I personally feel that the space is not used very well. The huge dining table is a bit redundant, and it compresses the most important sofa and rest area. The desk is also next to a large load-bearing column, which is not very bright. The bedroom and bathroom are spacious and bright. The bathtub and shower are huge, but the shower water pressure is not good, and the shower head is too small, resulting in too little water. The air conditioning in the suite is also very weak. I almost fainted from the heat in the afternoon when the sun was shining... Due to the huge load-bearing column, the corner room layout doesn't feel like 65 square meters, but the bright bathroom and corner glass are quite comfortable. I don't think the hotel's service is worthy of the title of the first Ritz-Carlton in mainland China (although I haven't stayed at any other Ritz-Carlton in mainland China [doge] anyway, it's far from the Ritz-Carlton in Hong Kong). Some of the lounge staff seem quite dull? They don't seem very professional. The lounge manager who checked me in was very efficient and gave a comprehensive introduction to the hotel and benefits, but I always felt that the service was still a bit lacking compared to other excellent luxury hotels. There were also some problems with the room cleaning. For example, they didn't put a towel under the skincare products when tidying the room, the ice bucket tongs were sticky and not cleaned properly, and the shower water stains were not wiped clean. The housekeeping staff came to turn down the bed at around 5 pm. When I asked her to come later, she almost said, "How about I don't do it?" But the concierge was very good. Every time I went out and got in the car, they would help me open and close the car door. I only tried the legendary lounge for dining this time. The breakfast in the lounge was very average, with few options, and the pastries were not very good. The afternoon tea was a set menu, and it didn't taste good. The lunch and dinner were good, and the service was much more professional than breakfast and afternoon tea. But one big downside is that the lounge doesn't have oat milk or any milk substitutes. The server on the first day told us they only had milk, but we later found out they actually had soy milk. During the sweet wine time in the evening, there wasn't even a bartender, and the cocktails were pre-made. Can anyone really think this is the best lounge? The hotel's location is excellent, right above Deji Plaza. The first floor has direct access to the mall, and there are many places to shop and eat nearby. It should be the best choice in Nanjing. Overall, I feel that this Ritz-Carlton is not worthy of its reputation. There is a lot of room for improvement in terms of overall quality and service. However, the location is indeed convenient.
