France free tour Nantes.

🌳We decided to change our tickets to Rennes-Nantes. We went to the train station ticket vending machine in the rain the night before to buy 2 tickets, and then refunded the ones we bought in advance on Trip.com. There was no refund fee! So we arrived in Nantes earlier than planned. The train this time was TER, an inter-regional train with no fixed seats. But don’t sit in the wrong seats in first or second class. There will be ticket inspections and you will be fined. After getting off the train, we bought round-trip tickets at the ticket office to Tours and Chenonceau Castle the next day. The hotel in Nantes is only about 10 minutes away from the train station and right next to the Ducal Castle. The location is really good. Most attractions are within walking distance. The room is a few square meters larger than Ren's, and at least the boxes can be spread out. The restaurant downstairs is open 24 hours a day, and some biscuits, drinks, coffee, and fruits are available for free. On the first day we just walked around. We took a jingle ride on the castle and church for 8 euros, and got a general idea of ​​the city of Nantes. 🌳The next day's itinerary is to take the train to Tours, stay for 3 hours, walk around the city, have lunch, and then go to the "Women's Castle-Chenonceau". After the visit, drive back to Tours, then transfer from Tours to Saumur back to Nantes. It was a bit of a hassle and the train was delayed by another 40 minutes, but it was worth it. It was almost 23:00 when we got back to Nantes, and I was a little scared to walk back to the hotel. Fortunately, there were a few passengers on this bus on the road, and I followed them all the way back to the hotel. 🌳On the third day, I walked around the city. It was easy and I checked in the Place Royale, Place Graslan, Dobre Museum, Verne’s House, Art Museum, Botanical Garden, etc.! Nantes is not bad either!
