| Novi Sad citywalk day tour. Novi is not sad at all. It is my favorite place on this trip, romantic and literary. It takes about an hour and a half to get from Belgrade to Novi Sad by bus. ✨Petrovradin Fortress Walking on the bridge, there is a lot of traffic, and the water of the Danube flows quietly under the bridge. Looking up, the fortress in the distance and the orange-red roofs of nearby buildings are like a magnificent oil painting. The clock tower with a history of more than 100 years is the landmark here. Its special feature is that the lengths of the hour hand and minute hand are opposite, that is, the short one is the minute hand and the long one is the hour hand. It is said that this design is to allow sailors on the Danube to see the time from a distance. ✨Liberty Square The square is full of fairy-tale buildings, including cathedrals, theaters, town halls, open-air restaurants, coffee shops, small galleries, pubs... The city exudes a literary and petty-bourgeois atmosphere, and the balconies of the houses are decorated with flowers. 🔸Food In Novi Sad, I ate at my favorite restaurant of this trip - FISH&ZELENIS, which is located on the street near Freedom Square. There are many graffiti painted at the door. The restaurant style is pastoral, with decorations and souvenirs all over the wall. The dishes are mainly seafood. If you eat too much meat, you can try something different here.
