Cloudy Shadows: The Nature and Serenity of Mount Rokko

Day 1 In the early morning light, I embarked on a journey to Mount Rokko. Taking the cable car slowly upwards, I overlooked the city and the sea at the foot of the mountain. The view gradually expanded, as if entering another world. Upon reaching the summit, I first visited the Rokko Mountain Ranch. The lush green grass and leisurely cows and sheep resembled a serene pastoral painting. I personally fed the lambs, feeling their warm touch, and then tasted the farm's homemade fresh milk ice cream, with its rich dairy flavor lingering on my tongue. In the afternoon, I strolled through the Rokko Mountain Garden, where the fragrance of flowers and plants wafted in the wind, making every spot a perfect photo opportunity. As the sun set, I headed to the Rokko Mountain Observatory to await the nightfall. When the lights of Osaka and Kobe twinkled below, the entire scene sparkled like jewels, leaving one breathless. Day 2 The next morning, I chose to explore the nature trails of Mount Rokko. The air in the forest was fresh, with birds chirping incessantly, accompanying the rhythm of my footsteps, as if playing a natural symphony. After reaching the highest point of Mount Rokko, the view before me was even more magnificent, with Osaka Bay shimmering in the sunlight in the distance. Then, I visited the Rokko Mountain Music Box Museum, which houses many antique music boxes. Listening to their melodies, I felt relaxed and joyful. At noon, I enjoyed a light meal at the museum's garden café, with the sunlight bathing me, as if merging with nature. In the afternoon, I returned to the foot of the mountain and made a special stop at Kobe Harbor, admiring the modern architecture and the seamless blend of sea and sky, marking a perfect end to this journey.
