Four-day tour of Osaka (non-tourist attractions)

Osaka Castle Park is such a quiet and relaxing place. You should definitely visit it if you have time to avoid Shinsaibashi and Dotonbori where there are so many tourists. In the evening, I went to Tenma on purpose to experience the authentic Japanese izakaya. There was no tourist at all, but it was full of Japanese people who were off work. It was a real experience of Japan. I am grateful to have met an Izakaya clerk who was very enthusiastic in helping us translate the menu. Although there were some difficulties in communication, "Tenma" is definitely worth a visit! Since Osaka and Kobe are very close, we also arranged a day trip to Kobe. We strolled around slowly and had lunch at the famous coffee shop "Nishimura Coffee". I was very satisfied just enjoying the chic decoration in the coffee shop and looking at the comfortable scenery. This is what traveling is like. You can sit and relax in a freehand coffee shop for an afternoon. Although the lunch price is a bit expensive (about 2,500 yen per person), it is still worth a visit. There were many people in Kobe at night, so I specially ate Kobe beef because there were signs of Kobe beef everywhere. Even though I am allergic to beef, I broke the rules and ate it once. I found it was really delicious. I am grateful that I came to Kobe and could eat heavenly beef but I was not allergic to it. On the third morning, I got up early and went to the "Kizu Market". I regretted not buying strawberries because I never saw so many strawberries for sale again. Next time I should plan to go to the Kizu Market the morning before boarding the plane so that fresh strawberries can be airlifted back to Hong Kong. This is my personal suggestion. Another highlight is the sea urchin, which is fresh and sweet, and the price is very affordable, a price that you can't possibly get in Hong Kong. Kizu Market is a great place, and if you bring your mothers here, they will definitely love this market. On the last day of the trip, I went to the Rinku Town outlet before boarding the plane. It is only a 10-minute train ride from the airport, which is very convenient for people who like shopping. There are also many places to store luggage, but you need to be careful and patient to find cheaper storage spots. There are some shops hidden in the train station that offer cheap prices for storing luggage. Although I didn’t go to Universal Studios/Dotonbori/Shinsaibashi during this four-day trip, I felt very satisfied. A leisurely and relaxing itinerary, heavenly food, endless cosmetics and pharmacies, and scenery with blue sky and white clouds are the meaning of traveling.
