Trekking to conquer Phu Kradueng - Loei Province

Once we were conquerors of Phu Kradueng. Even beginners can walk the hiking trail. Phu Kradueng is considered a popular trail for hikers. The distance is not very far. There are facilities. There are shops selling drinks and food along the way. We stopped for fun but never reached the end!! Start walking from the tourist service point at Ban Sri Than to Lang Pae, 5.5 km. Continue walking to Wang Kwang tent site for another 3.8 km. The total distance is about 9 km. For those who want to hire porters, you have to weigh your belongings at the service point. The price is 30 baht per kilogram. You will get a baggage claim card to exchange when you reach the top. During holidays, the porters run out early. You have to come and reserve a queue early in the morning. Along the way up Phu Kradueng, there will be rest stops, such as sams. There are places to sit and rest, food shops, and bathrooms. There are 10 sams in total before reaching Lang Pae. However, some sams are small rest stops. There are no shops. You have to look for the signs. The walking path will be a rocky slope alternating with stairs. It is quite steep. There are some flat areas to rest a little bit. Sam Krae is the last sam with shops before walking up the long slope to Lang Pae. After reaching the back of the pier, there will be a sign that we are the conquerors of Phu Kradueng. Then we have to continue on flat ground to reach the tent site. Some parts of the path are sandy soil. On both sides of the path are pine forests. After walking leisurely, we will arrive at the Wang Kwang Tourist Service Center. Contact us to pick up your luggage and rental equipment. The tent site is quite wide upstairs. There are both tents from the park and tents from shops. There are houses and many restaurants so you don't have to worry about going hungry. There are bathrooms in many places.
