#valentinescape What an amazing, peaceful, and most importantly, romantic stay it's been so far for Valentine's Day! The Pela Resort, under the Richmond Hotels & Resorts Group, is conveniently located just off a main road in the less-crowded Kamala Beach area of Phuket. The resort has 2 3-storey heritage-styled buildings, and several standalone bungalows. The Pela was also recently refurbished, so the hotel was modern and clean. There are 3 room types. For Valentine's, I'm staying in the 2-bedroom suite. It's located on the first floor with a large, private veranda. The room comes with a fully-equipped kitchen, separate living and dining rooms, and a modern ensuite bathroom with a luxurious rain shower. All amenities were brand new. As the resort is relatively small, there's a private, romantic feel to it. There are 2 separate pools, steam rooms, and a yoga sala.
