|Escape the hustle and bustle of the city and find peace of mind. Sanhe Academy is connected to the lobby and located in the center of Sanhe Daoli. It covers an area of 850 square meters, with two floors above ground and one floor underground. It is a place for reception, reading, working, and relaxing with coffee, and is open to all guests and visitors for free. This was originally a cattle pen in the village that had fallen into disrepair. The designer deliberately retained the original rammed earth wall and blue brick wall as the back of the library. The main body is made of fair-faced concrete, and a steel structure cross is placed in the 10-meter-high space, allowing the green forest and rice fields to be dyed indoors, which not only meets the openness and natural lighting of the public space, but also maintains the historical continuity of the space. The fair-faced concrete outside also extends to the interior, and the undulating platform is interwoven with rich visual relationships. The various spaces on the three floors are connected by stairs, creating a short and tortuous route, like a winding path in the mountains. People wander around, climb high, stop, read, and watch. Under the wooden golden beams and bamboo ceiling, a unique reading experience is created for everyone to enjoy.
