The Anambas Islands are one of the exotic islands with the potential and attractiveness of beautiful tropical tourism. Noted as one of the administrative areas of the Riau Archipelago Province, Anambas is also a division of the Natuna Islands Regency. Although it is not as popular as other archipelagic tourist destinations, Anambas has the beauty of a tropical island that cannot be doubted. With the charm of beautiful marine tourism, ranging from the diversity of marine life, white sand, and clear sea water, Anambas can be a destination worth visiting. #triplocal #themeparks #nationalpark #lakes #beaches #themepark#zoo#nationalpark#lakes#beaches

Located south of mainland Batam, Ranoh Island is where you can experience barefoot luxury away from technology, noise, stress, demands and obligations. The island is also near Pulau Abang – a famed spot for snorkellers as it uncovers a magical underwater world. Long before it became a boomisland, Ranoh Island is just unspoiled and isolated island, hidden island. Protected from crowds and the stress of modern life, these retreats will allow you to become one with nature, soak up local culture, and live in paradise. Ranoh Island is surrounded by many other small islands, most of which are conservation areas for coral reefs. There are tons of activities at Ranoh Island so that is why we’d recommend you to stay overnight rather than drop by for only a day trip. Besides snorkelling, you’ll also have access to other water-activities like kayaking and banana boat as well as their exciting giant waterpark that sits smack-bang in the ocean! #summervacation#beachvacation#urbanexplorer

Taman Wisata Habibi 1000 Tangga literally means ‘a thousand steps’, which is the estimated total number of all the existing stairs here. The steps lead to different gorgeous spots in this spacious location dominated by lush greenery, including a cliffside beach and viewpoint overlooking the skyscrapers of Singapore. The limited access makes it a quiet place, at least when we were here. If youre not in shape it will be a challenge to climb back up the steps but not impossible. Don’t miss this particular spot – the rustic and super Instagrammable treehouse! Climb up and get ready to pose with the panoramic view of the sea behind you and the surrounding verdant greenery for that picture of the day. #summervacation#hikingtrails#urbanexplorer

Situated away from the main island of Batam, Telunas Private Island is the perfect place where you can escape from all the hustle and bustle, and get all the privacy and peace you need. Upon checking into Telunas Private island, you will feel like you are on a boat surrounded by water, but even better – with hotel facilities. Here, you can relax completely in your overwater bungalows, where you can simply jump from your room into the sea! The rooms have no air-conditioning – because who needs the air-conditioning when you can feel the cool sea breeze on your face? You can also get a personalised massage treatment from the comfort of your balcony right by the sea. Listen to the waves and gaze out at the sea while you relieve the tension and knots in your muscles. The restaurant serves a diverse blend of traditional Indonesian and Western cuisine, as directed by the famous Chef Surya. For special anniversaries or occasions, you can also book a candlelight dinner with your partner or a poolside dinner gala with a party of friends. You could also have a dip in the infinity pool while enjoying the breathtaking view of the sea, or head out to the sea in your kayak! #summervacation#beachvacation#hotelstay#urbanexplorer

Batu Ampar Waterfall looks majestic enough and can be a good background for photography. Thus, you must not forget to carry a camera when visiting the site regardless of the time of the visit. After all, the location offers other interesting objects to capture including cliffs, lush trees, natural pond, river, rocks, and others. Even taking photos with other visitors is quite recommended. Aside from photography, visitors are likely to enjoy bathing in Batu Ampar Waterfall. These people won’t be able to resist the temptation of the refreshing natural pond, after all. The water looks clear and it feels so rejuvenating! It is because the source comes from the mountain, so it feels quite refreshing. Moreover, the water feels more revitalizing in the morning. Thus, everyone should consider visiting the waterfall only early in the morning. The newest feature that tourists can find in Batu Ampar Waterfall is the fish pond, which is located near to the playground. Lots of beautiful fishes live in it, and tourists are allowed to take photos of them freely. However, it is not allowed to get in the pond or catch the fishes. #summervacation#hikingtrails#urbanexplorer

Abang island offers stunning sea scenery and great spots for snorkeling! This inhabited island is indeed popular for its underwater beauty, as well. No wonder, many foreigners often come there, too! The island has breezy wind and warm atmosphere. The best spots are indeed the shores where crystal clear water and stunning shorelines reside. The clarity is excellent, so tourists can see corals and fishes clearly down there. The first thing to enjoy when visiting Abang Island is definitely the trip. It is because you need to undergo a long and adventurous trip in order to reach the island. It starts from Batam Island and the first destination is the “6” bridge. From this spot, you can ride a boat and head directly to the island. The fee depends on the time of the visit, actually. That means it may cost more during holidays and weekends. Thus, you should carry enough cash when visiting the island later (especially during holidays). #summervacation#beachvacation#urbanexplorer
