Courtyard of the Palazzo Altemps

The courtyard of the Palazzo Altemps, really gives you an idea of the grand scale of the palace that this building was before it became a museum. In the courtyard you will find four Roman statues and a splendid fountain and nymphaeum. The palace dates from the 15th century, it was owned by various different private individuals over the years, even including the Holy See, today is his property of the Italian government. It’s a really underrated museum and rarely very crowded. #celebrateit #rome #museum #italy
