The Beautiful Jade Buddha Temple in Shanghai 🇨🇳

Located just North of downtown Shanghai in China, Jade Buddha Temple has a beautiful courtyard with bright yellow and orange buildings, with many trees and greenery. It’s an escape to a peaceful temple in the middle of a busy city. 🚇 Take the metro to Changshou Road station on Line 7 and then walk just a few minutes to arrive at the temple. ⏰ The temple is open from 8:00am to 4:30pm every day. There are a variety of statues of gods and goddess that many people come to admire and pray to. There are two statues of Buddha, one sitting upright and one reclining but these are not allowed to be photographed. Everything else in the temple is free to take photos of, it is a very photogenic place with beautiful architecture. There is a vegetarian restaurant on site that serves different types of noodles and soy based meat products. The average price is around 30rmb per dish!
