Stayed with my boyfriend at a Shanghai hotel! The budget hotel was so comfortable

The architecture and landscape were quite ordinary, giving off an unfinished office building vibe. The entrance was also awkward. I won't mention which company designed it. The interior was much better than the Sofitel Luofu Palace in Foshan where I stayed 7 years ago. The style continues the feel of CCD's own designs in recent years, with many techniques in the hard decoration worth learning. However, the soft decoration was too cluttered, with decorative chandeliers everywhere. Some spaces were overly layered with soft decoration and too many patterned elements, which didn't bring a homely feel but rather a sense of chaos and disorder. The overall supporting area was not impressive, but the room types and scenery were very good, and the location was excellent considering the high investment. Normally, a standard room costs over 2800, and a suite over 6000 per night. Yet, the Chinese restaurant seemed to have a better 'value for money' under this style.
