| Moller Villa Hotel, highly recommended~. Shanghai is not unfamiliar to me, I've been there many times. Just happened to have some free time these days, so I set off. This time, there was no purpose, just purely wanted to take a look, no prior research or plans, and didn't consider the weather, a truly free trip. However, I did research the place to stay in advance, asked a good friend in Shanghai, and chose a hotel from her recommendations that felt the best~ Moller Villa Hotel. Maybe it was its uniqueness that attracted me, and after staying there, I found it was worth the trip. Moller Villa Hotel, also known as Moller Residence, is located at No. 30 South Shaanxi Road. The small main gate is not particularly conspicuous, it's a two-leaf iron gate, but once you step in, the east facade that greets you looks like a miniature European castle. The unique three-story cross-stitch wall tiles, green glazed columns, small doors, and small windows form a real dream castle standing in the bustling heart of Shanghai. It tells the story of the fusion and collision of Eastern and Western cultures, as well as the vicissitudes of Shanghai over the past century. The main building presents a typical Scandinavian style, which reminds me of the Gamble House, the residence of one of the founders of Procter & Gamble, located in Pasadena, which I visited in LA.
