Transportation: Take the high-speed train to Shanghai Hongqiao Railway Station. Shanghai's subway is very convenient and can reach almost all the scenic spots. Especially Line 2, which goes to Jing'an Temple, Nanjing Road, the Bund, Oriental Pearl Tower, Shanghai Tower, and other attractions. Itinerary: Day 1: Shanghai Tower (4A)—The Bund—Nanjing Road Shanghai Tower is 632 meters high, the tallest building in China and the third tallest in the world. Together with the nearby Shanghai World Financial Center and Jin Mao Tower, they are known as the "Big Three of Lujiazui". Take the elevator to the 118th floor, and you can see the Oriental Pearl Tower beneath your feet. The 360° panoramic glass windows offer a full view of Shanghai. After leaving Shanghai Tower, walk 500 meters to Dongchang Road Wharf, where you can take a ferry to the Bund Ferry Terminal on the opposite bank for only two yuan. There's no need to spend money on a Huangpu River cruise. My mother said this was the best deal in Shanghai. The Bund's night view is beautiful, so it's recommended to visit after Nanjing Road. Day 2: Yu Garden (4A)—City God Temple—Site of the First National Congress of the Communist Party of China (5A)—Jing'an Temple Yu Garden is a private garden built by Pan Yunduan, who once served as the governor of Sichuan. It is much smaller than the Humble Administrator's Garden and Tiger Hill in Suzhou. The City God Temple is a Taoist temple right next to the exit of Yu Garden. The Site of the First National Congress of the Communist Party of China is also a 5A scenic spot. Those interested in history can come and experience the place where the most important meeting in the history of the Communist Party of China was held in such a small room. It truly is a spark that can start a prairie fire. Jing'an Temple is a temple located in the bustling downtown area. Its roof is entirely covered with golden tiles, which is quite unique. Food: For breakfast, we recommend Shanghai's specialty snacks, such as pan-fried buns and duck blood vermicelli soup from Xiao Yang Sheng Jian. The pan-fried buns are filled with flavorful soup and have a delicious taste. For lunch, we recommend Hua Fu (Lujiazui Center Branch). The tableware, presentation, and taste are all top-notch. The restaurants on Nanjing Road and the Bund are more expensive. Accommodation: We recommend the Jinling Purple Mountain Hotel Shanghai. It's a five-star hotel located near the subway Line 2 in Lujiazui, close to Shanghai Tower. It offers a pleasant environment at a reasonable price.
