Warm hotel with great location in Jingan

The Kempinski was a great place to stay on my most recent trip to Shanghai. Due to the situation in Shanghai, staff were on a skeleton schedule, but the staff members who were there were so kind and helpful that it made staying there a warm experience. The hotel is a bit outdated but it’s obvious that someone in charge is working hard to keep things clean, proper, and organized. The location is fantastic as it’s just a stone’s throw from many lovely bakeries, bars, and restaurants. I failed to realize that my booking didn’t include breakfast, so had to pay that out of pocket which was fine.
