Fall into the Night of Anchang Ancient Town (Part 1)

Anchang Ancient Town is one of the four ancient towns in Shaoxing. The ancient town has preserved and continued the folk customs and ancient and simple water town style for thousands of years. The ancient town was built in the Northern Song Dynasty. The small bridge and flowing water pass through the house, and the simple and elegant Anchang Street has always been known as "the green water runs through the street and thousands of houses, and the rainbow crosses the river and seventeen bridges". The Anchang Ancient Town we see today, although it was rebuilt in the Ming and Qing Dynasties, its architectural style still inherits the typical characteristics of the water town in the south of the Yangtze River, with a strip of water and tranquility. The old street, which was opened in the second year of Hongzhi in the Ming Dynasty, was built along the river, starting from Gaoqiao in the east and ending at Qingdun Bridge in the west, with a total length of 1,747 meters. The lights of the ancient town take water as the axis and light as the medium. Through the simple lights, the spatial level of the two sides is decorated to create the unique prosperity of the ancient town. When night falls, beautiful night scenes come into view. Walking into the ancient town, what comes into view is a tall horse head wall. This is the entrance to the core section of the ancient town. The horse head wall creates a dynamic visual effect in the form of light and shadow interpretation. The integration of ancient and modern light and shadow art brings a different sense of perception. The century-old sauce garden - Renchang Sauce Garden, has a long wall, set by the water, and there is a long stone road under the wall. The projection of the light creates the atmosphere of "smoke and fire Anchang", and shows the humanistic life and historical past of Anchang with a long scroll of ink and wash. Tourists on the other side of the river can feel the unique humanistic fireworks and historical context of Anchang Ancient Town. Water Town Night Painting - The mottled and ancient walls interpret pictures with Jiangnan artistic conception, the alternation of seasons, and the blooming and falling of flowers. The corridors on both sides extend. The lanterns in the distance are reflected in the water and float with the waves. The warm light comes out from the corridor, and the simple color reflects the color of the ancient town in people's hearts, the smoke and fire in the market, and the warmth of people's hearts.
