❤️The Dazheng Hall and the Ten Kings Pavilion are the iconic buildings of the Shenyang Imperial Palace, and the most solemn and sacred places in the Shenyang Imperial Palace. 💛​The Dazheng Hall, commonly known as the Octagonal Hall, was built in 1625 and is an important palace built by Nurhaci, the ancestor of the Qing Dynasty. This hall was the place where Emperor Huang Taiji of the Qing Dynasty held major ceremonies and important political activities. In 1644 (the first year of Shunzhi), Emperor Fulin ascended the throne here. Today's Dazheng Hall is one of the landmarks of Shenyang City. ​💜The Ten Kings Pavilion is located on both sides of the Dazheng Hall and is arranged in a swallowtail shape. It is the place where the left and right wing kings (two people) and the eight banner masters (the eight banner masters of the early Qing Dynasty) worked in the palace. It reflects the unique military and political system of the Manchu-the Eight Banners system. This phenomenon of the monarch and his officials working together in the court is rare in history.
