Shenzhen’s Most Unique Starbucks

We visited the recently opened Starbucks Reserve at Tianhe City (Teemall). It is the 300th store in Shenzhen and is located in the former site of Kingway Brewery in Luohu District. It pays tribute to this milestone with a very special store design. The Kingway Brewery, where the shop is located, was a landmark building in the 1990s. After Starbucks took over, the store was renovated but the store retained the original characteristics of the building. The distinctive red cylindrical building was retained. The shape of the store is very unique and it is a completely independent building. It has four floors, the first basement level is the main entrance and the third floor above ground is a semi-open air balcony. There are circular stairs you can walk up and down, there is also a direct elevator. What I love the most is that there is such a variety of places to sit enjoy and experience, different areas have very different feelings. The first time you visit be sure to walk around the whole store before sitting down. There is a lot of of cool art to check out in this store (and also in the art gallery next to the store).
