Shenzhen's 'Back Garden'｜Just climb, and leave the rest to the scenery

Wutong Mountain is the highest mountain in Shenzhen. To the west, you can see the city of Shenzhen, to the south is Hong Kong, and to the southeast, you can see the sea. The mountain is densely forested with a variety of plants, and wild boars occasionally appear. There are winding mountain roads and hiking trails. For climbing, it is mainly divided into Small Wutong and Big Wutong. The landmark of Small Wutong is the TV tower. The landmark of Big Wutong is the stone at the peak. There are several hiking routes. If you want to climb the entire Wutong Mountain but are afraid of exhausting your legs, you can split it into two trips: one for Small Wutong and one for Big Wutong. Xiutong Road is the fastest route up and down the mountain 2. There is a restaurant at the Small Wutong TV tower 3. Butterfly Valley is a dirt road with no steps. Although it's easy, many places have no shade, so be prepared for sun protection 4. Dengyun Road has a path that leads to Xianhu Botanical Garden and Hongfa Temple 5. Lingyun Road has a very steep section, so use both hands and feet if necessary 6. The winding mountain road is easy to walk, but it takes a long time and only reaches Hero Slope 7. Taishan Stream has a creek along the way, so choose suitable shoes 8. There is no metro station at Wutong Mountain North Gate, so you need to transfer to a bus
