The former British Consulate in Shimonoseki

The building, which was built in 1906 and is a nationally designated important cultural property, is the oldest existing consulate building. Admission is free. Although it is small, there is a consular room with a fireplace and souvenirs for sale. The second floor is a tea house where you can enjoy tea and snacks . There are so many Petter Rabbits inside which are so cute. The ambiance is really relaxing.
