Explore Angkor Wat! A Zen hotel in Siem Reap

During this trip to Siem Reap, I stayed at the amazing Sokkhak Boutique Resort, located in Kok Chork Village, Trorpeang Ses Commune, Wat Thmey. It's only 6 km from Siem Reap Angkor International Airport, making it a great choice for a trip that combines history and tranquility. The hotel is in a good location. It's a little far from the city center, but transportation is very convenient. It's only 2.7 km from the lively Pub Street and 3.8 km from Angkor Wat. Every time we needed to go out, the hotel arranged a tuk-tuk or driver for us, which was super convenient. The hotel exterior is full of Cambodian style, with lots of greenery. It feels very peaceful and secluded. When we checked in, the receptionist greeted us warmly and offered us a delicious welcome drink, which was a great way to cool off! The room was also a pleasant surprise. We stayed in a deluxe balcony room, which was spacious and stylishly decorated with a strong Cambodian flavor. Each room has air conditioning and a flat-screen TV. My favorite part was the balcony. Sitting there in the evening, feeling the breeze and looking at the garden view, was a real treat. The bed was very comfortable, so I could sleep well. The bathroom was well-equipped, and the shower had good water pressure, which was very relaxing. The hotel restaurant is also worth mentioning. Breakfast was rich and varied, and I looked forward to it every day. The lunch and dinner dishes were also exquisite, and every dish was a hit. I especially recommend their Cambodian dishes, which were great in both taste and presentation. After a good meal, you can enjoy a peaceful afternoon by the hotel pool. The cool pool water is the best way to relieve the fatigue of the day. For foodies, be sure to visit Temple Skylounge Pubstreet. The restaurant not only has amazing food but also a great view. The music atmosphere at Western Tribes Bar is also very immersive. Don't forget to try Embassy Restaurant, which offers a combination of traditional and innovative Cambodian cuisine. Kroya by Chef Chanrith is the best choice for traditional flavors. If you're looking for healthy food, Haven and WILD - Creative Bar & Spring Rolls Restaurant are ideal choices. Overall, Sokkhak Boutique Resort not only has complete facilities but also offers attentive service. Every staff member is very friendly and ready to help you. Their excellent service made this trip even more perfect. If I have the chance, I will definitely choose this hotel again. ✨
